Our friendship has progressed in a really good way so far. We have connected very well and it has been really fun. Ever since my dad left I have not had someone to hang out with. Now that I have a mentor there are many fun activities that I get to do with Tim. We both like doing outdoor activities and being near the ocean. I like my mentor Tim because he is fun, exciting, listens to me and is understanding. My mentor encourages me to be more active and to do other activities instead of just playing video games all day. When I am with Tim, I feel like I can be myself. I would like to thank Tim for helping me be able to do new activities and for being there for me. What I really like about our friendship is that we get to connect and be there for each other. My favorite activity so far has been when we went to the beach and had fun boogie boarding.
