Whole Health for Youth Collaborative

Friends For Youth (FFY) serves as the backbone agency for the Whole Health for Youth (WHY) Collaborative, a vibrant network of local organizations that aims to improve the mental health and wellness of youth and their families through coordinated prevention and early intervention services.

WHY was founded in 2018 to share data, eliminate duplicative services, & ultimately streamline processes to make it easier for families to navigate and access mental health and well-being resources. Through our collaborative warm handoffs and co-location of services, we build bridges within the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks communities and seamlessly connect low-income, BIPOC youth and their families to necessary mental health and wellness services offered by our nonprofit partners.

WHY core partners include Siena Youth Center (SYC), PAL Center (PAL), & One Life Counseling Center (OLC).
